History
Started in 1966, Four-O-One Electric operated until 1981 primarily as a residential electrical service employing an electrician and an apprentice. In 1992 the company was purchased by Barry Moss and Chris Abrams.
Under Barry Moss’ management the company focused on service and diversification including the development of the commercial and industrial division. For the next couple of years the company employed 4 electricians and experienced moderate growth. The purchase of its first office building at 148 Brock Street in Brockville, Ontario took place in 1994.
The company enjoyed an annual growth of 15 % for the next 10 years.
In 2004, a 5,000 square foot building at 20 Cowan Avenue, Brockville, Ontario was purchased and completely renovated to house the expanding office and warehouse needs of Four-O-One Electric.
In 2007, Four-O-One Electric purchased C E Fox Electric with Charles Fox joining the team as a senior partner.
In 2009, Brian Harper became a senior partner. In addition during 2009 the company prepared for the advent of the Green Energy Act by training personnel in solar installation. A dedicated Renewable Energy Salesperson was added to the solar division in 2010.
Today
We have 44 full time employees and run a fleet of trucks. On July 5, 2011 we celebrated business growth and the completion of office renovations and the addition to the building at 20 Cowan Avenue with a Ribbon Cutting and Open House.
